Cali, Crete and Cauliflower

We have landed! After our year in Stockholm, enjoying nature, friends and family, we have packed our suitcases again to make the big traverse to Cali (fornia). There is something to say about movement and moving: it certainly kick starts an energy for so many reasons. We are taking everything we can from the nearest past, learning from it, and moving into a new present. The most welcome thing, which I am grateful to say, is to see our friends, chosen family and the constant light in California. We have hugely missed it!

In the short time i’ve been back in Cali, I’ve also managed to fly to Crete in Greece for an amazing retreat in the name of fun, fitness and wellness, together with my friend Mårten Nylen who was my co-trainer in the Swedish Biggest Loser Tv show a few years ago. I can’t say enough about our trip. The place was magical, and all of our 40 attendees were a memorable bunch. In-between Smart Training workout sessions with Mårten and full length mobility and stretch sessions with me, and of course not to be forgotten Elinas water workouts, we’ve laughed, danced, and made new friends. The words Team and Love comes to mind after this week! Stay tuned, if it looks fun to you, we will be offering something again…very soon!

Alos, hooray for the land of do-anything-with Cauliflower! I went to a store (I don’t want to name) out of hunger pang desperation, and they had a selection of at least 99 different brands of Kombucha. Is it really enough, California? I know you like it intestinally pleasing, but 99? And also, in California we know you can basically make Cauliflower into anything you want. Pizza, sushi rice, milk in coffee, sweet buns. Because universe forbid you don’t use it as a sub for absolutely everything. The world should learn. I hope you understand that I’m joking! Poking fun at someone you love is ok? And I Love Cali!

I’m very much looking forward to what next. Sweden sported its absolutely most stunning nature, fun, food and attitude. Some nasty attitudes too of course, but I think we need contrast to know what’s what. Now both me and Jack click back into being flip flop wearing and smoothie drinking sun-bums. Or rather sun beams:)
