Summer Summary in Pictures

With our year in Sweden, we had hoped for a true European summer, and I think we managed to get one. In a post pandemic time, I realize how grateful I am to have been able to experience all of this. We couldn’t really travel anywhere but by foot basically last summer guys! Travel is truly a hobby. I used to thrive and get energy from seeing new places and spaces, meeting people in their own environment, getting used to feeling like a guest somewhere else to ge myself out of my comfort zone. I understand that travel is not available to everyone, and I really hope that this photo dump can be used as a little inspiration and motivation and fun!

Our trip to Rome and Florence was wonderful. We dint think we were getting any tourists that time of year but we did. The best parts of that trip was seeing our friends JC and Matt who married us, my old friend Elena who also just moved back to Rome from LA, and of course eating. We love food. We eat a lot. All of the other things were spectacular as only Italy can serve up:)

The next thing that happened was fun in the sun with friends all over the place. Nothing fills my heart more than all the pictures and happenings above. I feel I’ve made space for life to happen. As we too go back to the routines of every day living, we keep the treasures of these things in our heart and memory. And pictures.
